Another year has gone by

It is the last day of the year, and this post will be the last one for this year. The last two weeks I have been lazy and yet I was desperately trying to finish up some items before 2023 begins. Most of the items were planning and preparatory type of stuff.

I’m tired. I just want to sleep and be lazy. I hope I can get back to being productive when Monday rolls around.

As December is generally the month were co-workers start to slack off and enjoy the holiday season, I tend to do a lot of planning and experimenting for what I can do for the next year. This year was a slightly different approach, although still of a planning nature. I worked on the “Living Forward” premise of designing your life and now have a very rough outline which will undergo lots of changes in January, but I have a starting point.

I’ve also been working on a “revamp” of my LinkedIn profile, and I think the next two months will be devoted to that as I’ve signed up to a webinar/course. It actually covers LinkedIn and networking so January and February will be rough months for me due to a lot of “to-dos” on my plate. I’m actually tired thinking of it.

Last night I tried revamping my calendar to fit in the webinar and the “design your life” activities, but I’m having difficulty fitting everything in because of all I want to do.

I also want to add in some more learning. Here’s a couple of things I want to explore: video filming (in case I have to do training videos because people have occasionally asked for them), Python (so that eventually I understand what is behind analytics and AI), analytics, and the new AI tools (Stable Diffusion, MidJourney, Dalle-2, ChatGPT).

There are SO many videos on YouTube on AI tools that I’m anxious to see what they are about so I can get a feel for what they can and more importantly, can’t do.

There’s just so much to learn.

And so much to do.

I also want to do more reading this year as well as more art.

So, with all of those activities, including exercise and cooking for health, when does one have time for work?
