All Quiet in the Atlantic
Well, it’s been “eerily” quiet in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf that I fear being slammed in November or December with a nasty hurricane. We are past mid-October when things start to wind down but with the climate change going on, it’s possible that the hurricane season lasts longer with the peak appearing later in October or November, but maybe not this year. Cross my fingers. Hopefully the downward trend continues.
Last year was an exceptionally busy season with the hurricane activity still going strong in October so I am surprised it is quiet right now. I hope it STAYS that way.
By Thanksgiving, maybe I can breathe easier and start enjoying the fall activities.
