Good News Amidst the Bad
Hello, it’s a new year and I’m not looking forward to it. It’s election year, so that means all of the nastiness that goes with it.
Blegh
Most end of the year articles were either a compilation of pictures of what happened or distressing reviews of the years during 2010s – such as climate change, people in revolt around the world, income inequality, democracy under stress. But I did see one article that pointed out that mankind is actually getting better: more people are moving from extreme poverty to the middle class, life span is increasing, and more people are becoming literate.
