Most stunning debate ever?
“They are eating dogs!”
From He-who-must-not-be-named, debate in Pennsylvania on September 10, 2024
And so, an insane season kicks off.
I think it will be insane. Maybe it will quiet down.
There were many notable moments in the debate but the one that most news reporters started off with was the one about immigrants eating dogs in Ohio (by the way, not deemed true thus far). That was such a shocking moment to have a Presidential candidate spew out these kinds of outrageous lies. Everyone is talking about it.
Unfortunately, those shocking racists lies have kicked off some bomb threats in Ohio.
Between the insane election cycle with threats of violence overlaying the atmosphere and the expected intense devastating storms to pop out of the Atlantic/Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico (Texas is supposed to have a terrifying hurricane season), everyone is on edge and stressed out.
Hopefully, the sane group of voters, both in the Republican and Democrat party, will tire of the antics and use their better judgement and pick the sane, more Presidential candidate – someone who will keep democracy and voting around longer.
I had to make a note of this debate because it was really something else. Since I have not really watched a lot of debates (and hope to go back to being a low information voter once the insanity dies), I am relying upon those who watch these things. It sounds like that this debate was unlike any other and that Kamala Harris came out as a clear winner. Even Republicans have said that.
I’m under the impression that this debate was the most shocking debate ever in American debating history.
I just hope some of these voters get the message, see the insanity and say, “nope, don’t want that”. Otherwise, I’m not sure about the intellectual and mental health of these people that can’t see the craziness of all of this.
