Day after rapture - we're still here

We are still here!

We are really living in an insane timeline. People are just so nuts.

We are now post September 23rd, 24th and as far as I can tell, no one has raptured toward the heavens.

I decided to look around YouTube to see what the reactions were. My feed just blew up with the reactions to the whole non-event. Videos one after and another, on the topic of rapture, mainly to show TikTok feeds of those announcing the rapture.

Here are some few responses to the failure of the rapture:

  1. There were some black males who actually apologized/admitted to being wrong about the event. I have to say kudos to them for admitting; in this day and age, we don’t get many people admitting to being wrong. It’s more like double down.
  2. One said that she wasn’t really talking about the rapture…
  3. Some cried because they gave away their cars and now had no way to get to work. Others sold/gave away their home and were thus homeless.
  4. Some just closed down their accounts.
  5. Lastly, I think some just went on and pretended it never happened.

My impression is these declarations of the rapture happen every few years – that impression is derived from frequent comments saying that this was their nth time to live through the rapture/non-rapture. I’ve never heard of this so maybe before this event, it was behind the scenes, and the mainstream news did not pick up on this (mainly because it was so insane!).

This year, social media blew up this event and became more widespread, such that I heard of it. These poor folks – their visages were shown around the internet and will live forever on the internet as gullible fools believing in the imminent occurrence of the rapture.

This whole venture was embarrassing – like QAnon embarrassing.

Anyway, we are all still here to live through the coming crazy days.
