What is she doing?

Something a little different today. There is so much bad news floating around the world. For starters, is it hot enough for you yet? OMG. Let’s talk about something else.

It’s been a while since I have followed intensely the news about Ukraine and Russia, namely because the news about the eastern part of Ukraine has become distressing. Now that Putin is putting all of his focus in one area, he seems to be having some success. I hope Ukraine can eventually push them out.

But I do want to circle back to a Ukrainian House Representative who recently popped up in the news. Previously, I wondered about her because while she had this ferocious look on her face when asking America and Congress defend Ukraine, she didn’t push so hard against the Fox folks who were siding with Russia. Or rather she said nothing. I kind of wondered what her game was.

A few months later, I tried to do some research to see if some news would pop up where she pushed back against those who were saying, “what did Russia do to us?” or who were siding with Russia, but I couldn’t find anything. Again, it felt more like she was playing a game rather than being earnest about helping her countrymen.

It just was odd.

And then recently, a news article popped up where she was criticizing someone in Zelensky’s administration for something – it’s unclear what…maybe corruption charges. These were supposedly years old allegations.

But here’s her background story: she grew up in Ukraine but came to the US in 2000 when she was 21. She fell in love with an American and moved to America and has been in America ever since. So, she has no current history about Ukraine other than her recent 6 trips to Ukraine. So, I don’t know where she is getting her “facts”. Did she validate those facts?

She’s silent about those on Fox station supporting Russia but she goes nuclear on unsubstantiated charges against someone in Zelensky’s administration.

At this point, I don’t have a good feeling about what she is doing. I don’t “feel” good intentions from her.
